This That We Love

We are here to discover that which has always been naturally present in all of us. It was always there. Nobody gave it to us. If it appears lost it can be pointed to. We are here to discover something that is extremely obvious but very slippery to the mind.

The beauty of this discovery is in finding that it is everywhere, so the more you see it, the more you find it. It accumulates. You do not need to sort out the puzzle, it does so by itself. Just put your energy and your attention and your effort into discovering the obvious Presence that you are. This is what is relevant. Not something totally new.

Most of us miss the point because we look for something totally new and don’t consider for a second that the end of the struggle in our mind is something that we already know. Through our ignorance it looks too obvious and insignificant. With recognition it becomes so amazing that once you touch it you cannot stop loving its constant Presence.

So here we may fall in love. We fall in love with that which we have been refusing. We fall in love with This which we all have in common. It doesn’t choose between bodies or nationalities or culture or gender. We fall in love with This and love shines through our eyes the moment we touch it. This that we love is everywhere, in everyone, in everything.
